Dec. 10, 2018 - Bryn Snow, glass application technology manager with HarbisonWalker International (HWI), has been appointed to the board of trustees of the Ceramic and Glass Industry Foundation (CGIF) to serve a three-year term. 

Snow joined HWI in 2009. She became involved with CGIF when the group partnered with HWI and the American Ceramic Society to provide the first free Materials Science Workshop for Teachers in August at HWI's Advanced Technology & Research Center (ATRC) in West Mifflin, Pa. The workshop reportedly helped teachers from more than 20 different schools bring materials science education into their classrooms through the use of CGIF’s Materials Science Classroom Kits, which were donated by HWI.
